Unit 3 Photography
Brief : Undertake a documentary photography project of a chosen subject telling the story of 'A Day In The Life'.
I haven't ridden on the underground for at least a year, purely because of the fact that I’m physically conjoined to my bicycle and that shit just doesn’t fly on the tube at rush hour, according to the TfL website. Every day it leaves the house with me, it is the means by which i can get where i need to go and do what i want to do. In simply no other way could i get places as quickly, save as much money on transport, keep a bead-on as glowing, see as much of London as i see along the way, and above all have as much fun. The subject of my project was a no brainer.
A Day In The Life Of My Bicycle started early doors at my favourite coffee spot in Covent Garden, took on elevenses by Trafalgar Square, propped itself up by St Pauls just after lunch, and was snapped practicing trackstands in the courtyard of my flats just before midnight. The most difficult task was reducing down the number of photos in the final submission.
