Unit 3 Typography
Brief : a book design project comprising of a cover design and page layout.
We were supplied with an as-yet unpublished set of texts going under the name of An Incident & Other Stories by Marcus Bastel, which we had to layout as if they were to be published as a Penguin paperback. We also had to design a front cover, back cover, and spine for the book. It was very beneficial to gain a better understanding of InDesign and to explore for the first time the unbeknown intricacies and detail involved in page layout.
