Unit 4 Design - Supergraphics
Brief : Create experimental ways of incorporating a message you feel strongly about into the 3D environment.
To begin with we were set a 3 hour brief to inject a supergraphic into the immediate environment around our classroom. In a bid to secure that elusive A grade me and a classmate did some thumb-twiddling and came to the conclusion that the only way to make up for a blatant lack of talent was to base the entire project outcome around the tutor and how great she was. It didn't work.

Cycling around the city all day i'm constantly obliged to look down at the signage painted on roads. These road markings tend to give very specific instructions very abruptly, and it occurred to me that by tinkering with them slightly i could invert their meaning into a much more resonant, lingering message. The project is split into two parts - the first part is a light hearted play on the bike symbol painted on cycle lanes around town; the second is more heartfelt and a gentle reminder to people to take time out from the mad rush of London life and appreciate the perrenial things around them.
